Ukraine: A phoney war in strategic Mariupol

<p>Mariupol is a strategic port on the Sea of Azov in eastern Ukraine. It is one of the last major eastern cities still controlled by Kiev, but it remains under constant threat from pro-Russian separatists.</p><br />Since the Minsk agreement in February, the ceasefire has not been fully respected and people are still being killed. Ukrainian soldiers and pro-Russia separatists are stuck in  stalemate.<br />Mariupol’s residents are trying to live normal lives, just a few kilometres from the front line of the ongoing conflict.
