Greece: Athens expo depicts Ukraine war horrors

Europe is our common house, our common home and we have to live in peace and solidarity." <br />W/S Image of a woman and girl <br />W/S Exhibition <br />W/S Image of a girl <br />W/S Exterior of exhibition <br />W/S Greek Parliament building <br /> <br />SCRIPT <br /> <br />A photography exhibition depicting the humanitarian tragedy in east Ukraine had its opening night in Athens on Monday. <br /> <br />The exhibition was hosted by cultural organisation "Arcadia" and attended by members of the Greek Parliament. Syriza MP, Eleni Avlonitou, said she felt that the photographs convey the disastrous impact the conflict in Ukraine has had on its citizens. She added that Europe is obliged to care because it is "our common home". <br /> <br />According to UN estimates, more than 3,000 people have died since in the Ukraine conflict since mid-April.
