Syriza MP, Eleni Avlonitou, said she felt that the photographs convey the disastrous impact the conflict in Ukraine has had on its citizens. Police in Borodyanka, a town northwest of Kyiv that was recaptured from Russian forces, have said there could be hundreds of people buried under the rubble of residential apartment buildings razed to the ground by Russian attacks.
